Dig into the major facilities issues that afflict most museums, but you didn’t learn about in grad school (or any other job). The panel will discuss a host of common facilities issues, solutions, and suggestions for improvement.

Have a facilities question? This session, intended for small museum staff without a facilities manager, covers a variety of issues that may arise at your institution. Darrell Cooper, certified property manager with 35 years of experience and owner of Energy Audits Ltd. in Portland, Maine, with the goal of to significantly reduce building energy use and costs while maintaining or improving occupant comfort, health, and safety. Questions can cover interior and exterior issues.
