Museum Profile
Arnold Zlotoff Tool Museum
The Arnold Zlotoff Museum is located in a restored 19th century barn on the grounds of the Apple Island Resort in South Hero Vermont, gateway to the historic Champlain Islands. We are a free museum showcasing a collection of nearly 3000 implements used by American tradesmen during the 19th Century. Our collections are displayed on open shelving and grouped by the trade of craft that used them. Objects include the tools of the carpenter, joiner, cooper, wheelwright, carriagemaker and many others. Also on view is a large collection of 19th century agricultural and domestic implements.
