The Danforth at Framingham State University
The Danforth provides exhibitions and education programs that fulfill its mission to engage, inspire and transform the lives of children and adults. Danforth Art Museum educates the public through its permanent collection of American art from the 18th century to the present day, which includes outstanding examples of work by the African American sculptor Meta Vaux Warrick Fuller and Boston Expressionism artists, as well as through changing exhibitions of contemporary New England artists. The Danforth Art School provides studio art classes and workshops to all ages and levels in a variety of media, year round in our large, bright studios.
