The Fairbanks House
The Fairbanks House, c. 1637, is the oldest timber frame house in N. America. The house was built for Puritan immigrants Jonathan and Grace Fairbanks and their six children. The house served as a home to eight generations of the Fairbanks family. It was opened as a house museum in 1904. It is open for tours seasonally, May through October.
