Harwich Historical Society - Brooks Academy Museum and A. Elmer Crowell Barn
Housed in the historic Brooks Academy, the Harwich Historical Society collects, preserves, and presents the history of Harwich through exhibitions, education programs, active collecting, and research. Current museum exhibits feature the Cape's most extensive cranberry culture display, "Harwich Goes to School" and the 175th anniversary of the Brooks Academy building in 2019, and the A. Elmer Crowell Barn-the reconstructed workshop of the world-famous Harwich bird carver.
