The Marblehead Museum is a private non profit organization supported entirely by membership and donations. The Museum maintains three properties; the Jeremiah Lee Mansion, built in 1768, and recognized internationally as a significant example of Georgian Colonial architecture, the Civil War and G.A.R. Museum, including artifacts and the actual intact G.A.R. meeting room and the Marblehead Museum Galleries, housing the J.O.J. Frost folk art paintings, an changing exhibit space, and the Museums offices and archives.
