The Maysville Museum
This museum is in a renovated one-room schoolhouse. The site served simultaneously as the Maysville Town Hall, Maysville School, and the Maysville Grange. The museum has four cornerstone exhibits: Presque Isle's rural one-room schoolhouses; Presque Isle and the Civil War; Agri-CULTURE; and the Aroostook War. There are several other exhibits as well including a working antique telephone switchboard. The museum is open, volunteer availability dependent, Monday - Saturday from 10 am to 2pm summer - October.
