Southern Vermont Natural History Museum
The Museum showcases the historic Luman Nelson Natural History Collection of over 600 mounts representing over 250 species of New England birds and mammals. Live birds of prey, native reptiles, fish and amphibians are also on exhibit with hands on activities for the kids, minerology and other Vermont-focused exhibits. Situated adjacent to aover 600 protected acres, hiking and some spectacular views are readily available. Our on-site and outreach programs reach over 16,000 people from around the region each year.
