Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History
From dinosaurs to diamonds, mummies to meteorites, early man to modern day birds, exhibits at the Peabody delight adults and children alike. The Great Hall houses real fossils, including the Jurassic-age skeletons of Brontosaurus and Stegosaurus. Hands-on exhibits throughout the museum, the Discovery Room, and a changing exhibit gallery invite exploration. Also featured are exhibits on Connecticut geology, prehistoric mammals, a Hall of Native American Cultures, Ancient Egypt, a series of exquisite animal habitat dioramas, and our award winning Museum Store.
