I've been reading a lot about meditation lately. A Harvard neuroscientist has even proven changes to the brain from regular meditation (thanks former NEMA staffer, Sarah Franke for posting this on Twitter). I also see that Hood Museum of Art is running a program called "mindfulness in the galleries" which is a kind of guided meditation. I've always found art museums to be conducive to quiet focused time. This seems like a natural synergy. And with the popularity of yoga, I see great potential for a museum program like this.
