Tom Lentz has announced he will be stepping down as director on July 1. The announcement comes after last fall’s launch of the new museum, designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop.

Narayan Khandekar appointed director of the Straus Center for Conservation and Technical Studies at the Harvard Art Museums. Khandekar has been senior conservation scientist in the Straus Center’s analytical laboratory since 2001.

Anne Hawley has announced that she will be step down as the museum's director at the end of the year. She has been with the museum for 25 years.

Executive director, Donnell Carroll, was recently honored by his hometown of Gray with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the town’s annual appreciation dinner in December.

Executive Director, Karen N. Barthelson, has announced she will be retiring in early in 2015. Barthelson has been MAC Executive Director for the past eight years. She has been with MAC for the past seventeen years beginning in May of 1998 and served in various positions including Director of Exhibitions and Collections before accepting the position as Executive Director in 2006.
