What does my contribution go towards?
When you donate to NEMAppeal, your contribution goes into a pool that will fund NEMA conference scholarships to community college students. The value of each scholarship is $350, which will include complimentary registration for all three days of the conference, meals, and a small stipend. Your donation will also allow us to honor the students at the NEMA annual meeting luncheon on November 9.

Is this a one-time program?
It’s our hope that NEMAppeal will continue for many years to create a scholarship program for community college students.

What community colleges will be participating?
Each year, scholarships will be offered to community college students within a short drive to the NEMA conference location so they can easily attend the conference. This year’s students will be from Portland-area community colleges.

What kind of payment do you accept?
NEMAppeal 2015 is an online appeal campaign, so we are accepting credit card donations only through the NEMA website. If you would still like to donate but need to send a check please download this form.

Will my donation be recognized? What if I want to remain anonymous?
All donations will be recognized on our “donor thanks” page. If you’d like to donate anonymously, just fill out the appropriate box on the donation form.
